About Us
WWe're Jack's Guitarcheology and we're a local guitar store here in Lebanon, TN. We have an affinity for all things funky and drenched in mojo, and proudly offer repairs, restorations, consignments, and appraisals. We started this business from our home and now we get to realize the dream of owning our own storefront. Our selection of guitars is carefully curated and each instrument on the wall is hand selected and fully serviced. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Lebanon, Nashville, East Nashville, Wilson County and the surrounding areas. We'd like to personally invite you to take a peek into our world for unique, vintage, antique, and "weirdo" guitars...as well as musical instruments, sheet music, tuners, gig bags, microphones, and our expanded vinyl selection! Over the holidays our online store will remain up and running!

When looking at an area to move to, some people’s requirements are good schools, good daycare, good shopping. For me at my age I look for a good mechanic, a good lawnmower repair shop and above all a great guitar store. Jacksguitarcheology Music store for me sealed the deal. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Jack's Guitarcheology is my favorite guitar shop. I have always enjoyed their social media posts and low pressure atmosphere. Sometimes I go into a guitar shop and feel like I am either quickly dismissed or aggressively targeted to buy something I don't need. That has never been my experience with Jack's. The last time I was in the area I drove an hour out of my way to check out their collection of effects pedals and walked away with an OBNE Fault V2, and a gem of a vintage autoharp for my wife. I got to meet Toby, the sweet little shop dog who keeps an eye on things, and Jack made the effort to to show off an old Harmony I had a soft spot for, and even helped me find a spot in town to eat lunch.
Here I've included a picture of my most recent purchase from the store. A Squire Jazzmaster with some very cool mods including an ADR boost circuit with a toggle switch, and a sick break angle pickup installed to capture resonant noise all of which was installed by Chad Winn of CWINN Strings. I feel like I got it for a steal and it shipped beautifully. I honestly barely had to tune it, and the set up held magnificently even through shipping without a hard case (something I was confident doing because I know Jack's track record for excellent customer service).
I can't recommend them enough. If the vibes are off at your local guitar shop, if you have a daughter that you want to share your hobby with, if you want to see some sick vintage weirdo imports and catalog guitars, or if you just want to make friends with a really friendly beagle this is the shop for you.
